I am Associate Professor in the\u00a0Department of Political Science<\/a>\u00a0and Munk School of Global Affairs and\u00a0 Public Policy<\/a>, at the University of Toronto.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

A specialist in comparative public policy and administration, my award winning research focuses on\u00a0how policy gets made,\u00a0political-administrative relations, policy advice, and the intersection of technology and policy making.\u00a0 I have published<\/a> extensively on policy advice and advisory systems, policy design, and policy capacity and reform.\u00a0In 2019 I founded\u00a0Policy Ready<\/a>, a research and teaching platform focused on revitalizing public sector policy making for the digital era.<\/p>\n

I served as the 2024\u00a0Jocelyne Bourgon Visiting Scholar<\/a> at the Canada School of Public Service and\u00a0was also a\u00a0visiting scholar with the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZOG<\/a>).\u00a0 Before joining the University of Toronto I worked as a federal public servant and a Legislative Assistant at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. A proud Franco-Ontarian I now call\u00a0Oakville<\/a> home where I live with my wife Zoiey and our two children.<\/p>\n

Mes int\u00e9r\u00eats de recherche portent sur la politique comparative et l’administration publique. Je suis particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ress\u00e9 par le proc\u00e9cessus de l’\u00e9laboration des politiques publique, les relations politico-administratives, et l’intersection de la technologie et des politiques publique.\u00a0J’ai publi\u00e9 de nombreux articles<\/a> sur les conseils politiques et les syst\u00e8mes de conseils, la conception des politiques, ainsi que la capacit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9forme politiques. En 2019 j’ai fond\u00e9\u00a0Policy Ready <\/a>une plate-forme de recherche et d’enseignement ax\u00e9e sur la revitalisation des politiques publique pour l’\u00e2<\/span>ge num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n
